Linthouse Community Shop is based at 1121 Govan Road and is run in partnership with Linthouse Housing Association, whose office is right across the road. We work closely together to support the community and make sure local people can access affordable food and everyday essentials nearby.

Inside the shop you’ll find a mix of fresh food, cupboard staples, cleaning products and toiletries to help households stretch their budgets while still having choice when it comes to shopping. We also stock affordable pet food so our furry friends are looked after too.

Our opening times are
Tuesdays 2pm to 5pm
Thursdays 10am to 1pm

The shop is here to help reduce financial pressure on households across Linthouse and the wider Govan area while creating a welcoming, community-led space. Everyone is welcome to join. There are no referrals or benefits criteria, just a £1 yearly membership.

We also host regular support and activities in the space. Energy advisers and Govan Law Centre hold sessions at set times, and we run a friendly Stretch and Stroll group which brings people together for a gentle walk, a chat and a cuppa. You can always find the latest details of what’s on through our social media pages.

We’re always happy to hear feedback, ideas or suggestions. The shop belongs to the community and is shaped by the people who use it.
